Enrique Agudo is a multidisciplinary artist, architect, and filmmaker whose work explores the intersection of new digital media and material craft. His practice spans virtual reality, 3D and generative animation, and digital-to-physical craft processes such as wearable technology and Jacquard weaving. 

His VR short film The Pantheon of Queer Mythology premiered at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival and was selected for Cannes XR, FIVARS, and the Geneva International Film Festival. In 2022, he was commissioned two large generative digital artworks for IE University, The Alchemist and The Oracle, which change seasonally and are affected by real-time meteorological data. In 2023, he held a solo exhibition titled Ipseity at Vellum Los Angeles, and selected works have been showcased in digital billboards across Los Angeles. 

His notable projects bridge rigorous conceptual research with cutting-edge technical execution, Agudo’s mission is to address technology as an art in the Humanities, so his work is always conceived with great influence from art history, poetry, or fashion. The works showcased at SXSW London in 2026, from the series ‘You Are Beautiful’, define a new era for the artist, presenting his most personal register yet for the first time.

Born in Madrid and shaped by a transatlantic career between Madrid and Los Angeles, he trained as an architect at the Architectural Association in London and IE University in Madrid, completing both of his Masters at Southern California Institute of Architecture (MArch 2 & MFA in Fiction and Entertainment).
